Creative Use of Colour & Design’s Maya™, Kamari™ and Chloe™ Wallcoverings For IIDA Project Runway Kentucky

Colour and Design wallcovering used for Product Runway kentucky Maya, Kamari and Chloe sleeping beauty

Interior designers and architects exhibited their creativity and technical skills by producing couture fashion constructed out of interior finish materials. The Disney inspired garments were created out of items such as wallcovering, carpet, paint chips, or chair parts that look like anything but! Part runway fashion show, part theatrical production and complete indulgence for guest, PRODUCT RUNWAY – MAGIC CARPET RIDE met its promise as the event of the year!

Twenty two teams competed in this event including Colour & Design’s Kentucky distributor, Fashion Architectural Design, who won the Illustrator’s Award for their entry shown above. This Sleeping Beauty inspired garment was constructed from 3 Colour & Design patterns:

Maya™ – Pomegranate

Kamari™ – Pewter

Chloe™ – Shagreen

Congratulations to Fashion’s Kentucky sales rep Kelli Lorenzen, her daughter / model Taryn Derrick, Butch Seger from Gifthorse Designs and the rest of the team members that contributed to this award winning project!
